Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Trade Nutrition (tradenutrition.co.uk)

1. Opening Statement

Trade Nutrition is committed to ensuring that our business and our supply chains are free from modern slavery and human trafficking. We acknowledge our responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to maintaining transparent and ethical professional standards across all our operations.

2. Our Business and Supply Chain

As a UK-based distributor of sports nutrition and wellness products, our supply chain consists primarily of:

  • Established nutritional brand manufacturers.

  • UK-based logistics and courier partners (e.g., DPD).

  • Warehousing and packaging material providers.

We work almost exclusively with reputable brands and UK-registered suppliers who share our commitment to fair labour practices.

3. Our Policies

We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding modern slavery. We are committed to:

  • Ethical Sourcing: We vet our suppliers to ensure they comply with UK employment laws and health and safety standards.

  • Whistleblowing: We encourage an open culture where any concerns regarding unethical practices can be raised directly with management.

  • Fair Pay: We ensure that all direct employees and contractors are paid at least the UK National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage.

4. Due Diligence

To identify and mitigate risk, Trade Nutrition:

  • Conducts regular reviews of our primary UK suppliers.

  • Prioritizes partnerships with brands that have their own published Modern Slavery Statements.

  • Ensures all logistics partners (such as DPD) have robust ethical trading policies in place.

5. Training and Awareness

We ensure that all staff involved in procurement and supply chain management are aware of the signs of modern slavery and understand the importance of acting ethically in our sourcing.

6. Approval

This statement has been approved by the management of Trade Nutrition and will be reviewed annually to ensure continued compliance and improvement.
